I am a narrative artist working with fabric and stitch to create Illustrative Textile Paintings and Accessories
My specialism is Embroidered Textiles but I also have more than a passing interest in illustration,patchwork, quilting, sewing and crochet - in fact most needle related crafts!
My other passions are teaching, (as a college lecturer and freelance tutor) writing and public speaking
My current artwork, Tales From The Welsh Wood forms part of an exhibition for my Masters Degree in October 2010
The "Tales" are a series of modern fairytales based on my childhood experiences of abuse through which I would like to raise awareness of the problems faced by adult survivors of childhood abuse
